These terms govern your use of the mock.health synthetic FHIR sandbox. By creating an account or hitting the API, you agree to the following.
Use the sandbox for its intended purpose: development, testing, demos, and integration work against realistic synthetic patient data. Do not attempt to compromise the platform. Do not attempt to deanonymize or re-identify any data. Do not upload real protected health information — mock.health is a synthetic data sandbox and the ingestion surface is not designed for PHI.
Keep your API keys secret. Notify us promptly if you suspect a key has been compromised. You are responsible for usage under keys issued to your account until you rotate them. Rate limits apply per tier. Abuse of rate limits or attempts to circumvent them can result in account suspension.
mock.health is a beta-stage commercial sandbox. We aim for high availability but do not offer a formal SLA on the free tier. Pro plans include priority support and best-effort uptime commitments. We may perform maintenance, update synthetic datasets, and change APIs with reasonable notice.
Paid plans bill monthly via Stripe. Cancel anytime from your account settings or by emailing support — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.
Synthetic data is provided as-is for development and testing. It is statistically realistic but not intended for clinical decision-making, research publications, or any use involving actual patient care.
