FHIR Practitioner Resource

A person who is directly or indirectly involved in the provisioning of healthcare. This page documents the Practitioner resource as served by the mock.health synthetic FHIR R4 sandbox — 4 search parameters, US Core 6.1 profiling, and the elements accepted on write.

• name (string) — Server-defined search on name fields
• identifier (token) — NPI or other identifier
• family (string) — Family (last) name
• given (string) — Given (first) name

Write elements

Fields accepted when creating or updating a Practitioner. Required elements are base FHIR cardinality; the rest are US Core must-support.

• identifier (Identifier[]) — US Core requires NPI — system: http://hl7.org/fhir/sid/us-npi
• name (HumanName[]) — US Core requires at least one name with family
